Terms of Service
Last updated 3 November 2026
In short: you own your jobs and photos, you can cancel any time, and you must check measurements with a tape before anything is made.
1. The service
Measure.Me is web software for recording site measures: walls, openings, services, ceiling heights, photos, plans and notes, and sending them to a drafter as a PDF and a view-only 3D link. We may improve and change the service over time. If we remove a major feature you pay for, we'll tell you at least 30 days before and you can cancel and get a refund for any time you've paid for and won't use.
2. Accounts and your team
- Each company has an admin who invites staff and chooses what each person can see and do.
- The admin is responsible for who has access and for removing people who leave.
- Keep passwords private. Tell us straight away if you think someone has got into your account.
- You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
3. Plans, fees and billing
- Prices for each plan are on our pricing page and are in Australian dollars.
- Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- We may change prices by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. A new price applies from your next billing period after the notice ends, and you can cancel before then.
- If a payment fails, we'll let you know. If it's still unpaid 7 days after that, we may lock your company's account until it's paid. Your data isn't deleted while the account is locked.
4. Free trial
New companies can try Measure.Me free for 14 days without a card. At the end of the trial, choose a plan to keep measuring. If you don't, the account is locked and your data is kept for 60 days in case you come back.
5. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.
- We don't refund part-used months or years, except as set out in these terms or where the law requires it.
- If you're on a yearly plan and cancel within 14 days of your first yearly payment, we'll refund that payment in full.
- If we end the service, or you cancel because we changed these terms or removed a major feature, we'll refund any time you've paid for and won't use.
6. Your data
- You own your data: jobs, measurements, photos, plans, notes and signatures. You let us store and process it only to run Measure.Me for you, back it up, keep it secure and support you.
- We don't sell your data and we don't use it to train AI.
- Your jobs may include your clients' names, addresses and photos of their homes. You're responsible for having the right to collect that information and for telling your clients how you use it.
- When you send a job to a drafter, anyone with the 3D link can view that measure for up to 12 months. Only send links to people you trust.
- If you cancel, you can ask us for a copy of your data. We delete it 60 days after your account closes, apart from backups (which roll over) and anything we must keep by law.
7. Measurements are your responsibility
Measure.Me is a tool to help you record and share site measures. It doesn't replace your trade skill or judgement.
- Sizes read off a photo are estimates and are marked with a ~. They may be wrong. Plans, 3D views and closing checks are only as good as the measurements entered.
- You must check every measurement with a tape or laser, and confirm it on site, before anything is drafted, ordered, made or installed.
- Decisions about drafting, ordering, manufacturing and installation are yours. To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for the cost of remakes, delays or re-installs caused by measurements that weren't checked, unless the problem was caused by our own error or negligence.
8. Using Measure.Me properly
You agree not to:
- break the law, or upload anything you don't have the right to use;
- try to get into another company's data, or test, probe or overload the service;
- copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the software;
- upload viruses or harmful code.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep Measure.Me running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may need short breaks for maintenance or updates and will try to do these outside working hours. The app keeps working offline and syncs when you're back online. Support is by email.
10. Our property
The Measure.Me software, name and logo belong to us. Your plan gives you the right to use the software while you're subscribed. If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them to improve Measure.Me.
11. Australian Consumer Law
You may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Nothing in these terms takes them away. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
12. Limits on liability
- To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost business.
- To the extent the law allows, each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid or payable by you in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit your obligation to pay fees you owe.
- These limits don't apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that can't be limited by law.
13. Suspension and ending the service
- You can close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account for non-payment (as set out in section 3), or for a serious breach of these terms. Where the breach can be fixed, we'll tell you first and give you 14 days to fix it.
- We may stop offering Measure.Me altogether by giving at least 60 days' notice. We'll refund unused time and help you get a copy of your data.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For important changes, we'll email account admins at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then and we'll refund any time you've paid for and won't use. Small changes that don't disadvantage you, like clearer wording, can take effect when published.
15. Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
16. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- These terms, our pricing page and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Measure.Me.
- We'll contact you by email at the address on your account. You can contact us at peter.thallas@hotmail.com.
