Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 November 2026
In short: we only collect what we need to run Measure.Me. We don't sell personal information, don't show ads in the app, and don't use your data to train AI.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, company name, logo, role, and the date you agreed to our Terms.
- Job information you enter: client names, site addresses, measurements, photos of rooms, plans, notes and signatures.
- Technical information: device and browser type, sign-in times, and error logs, used to keep the service secure and working.
- Payment details: when paid plans start, payments are handled by a payment provider. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Messages: emails and enquiries you send us.
2. How we collect it
Mostly from you when you sign up and use the app. Some details come from your company's admin when they invite you. Technical information is collected automatically when you use Measure.Me.
3. How we use it
- to provide Measure.Me, including syncing your jobs and sending measures to drafters;
- to manage accounts, billing and team access;
- to help you when you contact us;
- to keep the service secure and fix problems;
- to tell you about important changes to the service or these policies.
We'll only send you marketing emails if you've agreed to receive them. Every marketing email will say who it's from and have an unsubscribe link.
4. Your clients' information
The joinery businesses that use Measure.Me decide what client information goes into their jobs, such as a homeowner's name, address or photos of their home. We hold that information for them, use it only to provide the service, and only people in that business (and anyone they send a link to) can see it. Each business is responsible for telling its own clients how it collects and uses their information.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers that run Measure.Me for us: our website and app hosting, cloud database and file storage (provided through the Revenu platform), email delivery and, when paid plans start, our payment provider. They may only use the information to provide their services to us.
- People you choose: when you send a job to a drafter, anyone with the 3D link can view that measure for up to 12 months.
- When the law requires it: for example, to comply with a court order.
We don't sell or rent personal information.
6. Storage overseas
Our service providers may store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers that protect information to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Keeping it safe
- Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Each company's jobs are kept separate, and people only see what their role allows.
- Measure.Me saves jobs on your device so it works without reception, then syncs them. Keep your device locked with a passcode.
No system is completely secure. If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we'll tell the people affected and do what the law requires.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. After an account is closed, we delete its data within 60 days, apart from backups (which roll over) and records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
9. Cookies and browser storage
The app uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to work offline. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking in the app. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts.
10. Seeing or correcting your information
You can update most of your details in the app. To ask for a copy of your information, have it corrected, or have it deleted, email us. We'll respond within 30 days.
11. Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, email us first and we'll try to fix it. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make an important change, we'll email account admins before it takes effect.
